
Mary Anne Peck is a writer, educator, and workshop facilitator living in American Samoa.
Originally from South Carolina, Mary earned her B.A. in English and Creative Writing from Winthrop University before moving to France, and then to American Samoa, to teach. In recent years, she has built her business as a writer and workshop facilitator.

Mary’s short stories and reviews have been published by BULL Magazine, Back Patio Press, Taco Bell Quarterly, and more. Her book, Siapo: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow (funded by the Amerika Samoa Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities) was published by Fa’asamoa Arts in April 2025 as an educational resource for the youth of American Samoa.
